The Morning After Pill

Only $25 for Plan B -  the lowest price anywhere!

We know there are many reasons why unprotected sex happens…maybe your birth control method was not available, the condom broke or your birth control method failed. Emergency Contraception (birth control after intercourse) also called EC, the Morning After Pill, Plan B or ECT, is a “second chance” for you to protect yourself from an unintended pregnancy. Plan B is most effective when taken within 72 hours, but can be taken up to 5 days after unprotected intercourse.

Plan B (EC) contraception is available at all of our locations in Oakland County, Wayne County, and Macomb County. Northland Family Planning offers Emergency Contraception (EC) patients a FREE pregnancy test when you come in for your EC and another three weeks after taking EC. The second pregnancy test helps relieve any worry you have over whether or not you are pregnant.

We will save you money and time. Our team of health educators is available to answer all your questions and concerns. Pharmacies do NOT offer you this service and our prices are as much as 25% less than retail pharmacies. Some women have reported experiencing judgment, lecturing and shaming when purchasing EC from a retail pharmacy. Here at NFP, we respect and support your decision and offer an environment of privacy and comfort.

Because this is an emergency for you, we promise to see you immediately, with NO appointment necessary.  Call the Northland Family Planning Center nearest you for office hours. View our locations.

If you are interested, you can also get started on birth control at the SAME TIME you come in for the Morning After Pill.  You can do this through our QUICK! Start Program, with NO exam!! Please ask our staff about this- we are more than happy to help you get started on a regular birth control regimen while at our office.

Patients Under 17

If you are a minor under the age of 18, we can help you. As of April 2013, the law NO LONGER requires a doctor’s prescription for Plan B. When you come to Northland Family Planning, there are no additional services required if you are younger than 18. We are here to help. Call us if you have any questions or stop in.
